On Tuesday, 21 October 2025, SSK&W Law Firm took part in an event dedicated to angel investing, held at the BNP Paribas headquarters on Marcin Kasprzaka 2 Street in Warsaw. The meeting gathered around 50 participants from the investment ecosystem — mainly institutional investors and business angels.
During the event, Szymon Syp and Natalia Grzegorzewska from SSK&W delivered a presentation titled “Five Key Legal Issues in Angel Investments.” Their talk covered, among others, topics such as valuation, protective clauses (liquidation preference, anti-dilution), information rights, and the possibility of transferring investor rights to affiliated entities.
The event was organized by Vestbee Syndicates (Paweł Maj and Marcin Łączyński) in cooperation with BNP Paribas and PFR Ventures.
The program also featured talks by Marcin Łączyński (“Investing via VC vs. as an Angel”), Wojciech Fedoruk (“Family Foundations in Practice”), and Piotr Kędra from PFR Ventures (“PFR as a Catalyst for the Ecosystem”).
The meeting concluded with a networking session, providing an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences and discussing the development of the private investment market in Poland.
