SSK&W advises private clients on all legal matters related to property management, succession planning, real estate acquisition, family and property matters, including the division of property, arranging relations with partners, searching for business partners and investors.
SSK&W also advises on complex matters related to investments and divestments (in particular in the area of conflict situations) and ensures the highest level of confidentiality to private clients.
Private client practice is the second most important practice on par with transactional work.
At SSK&W, we understand the challenges faced by private clients planning the future of their companies and families.
In 2024, we actively participated in projects related to the establishment and management of family foundations.
Over the past few months, we have supported our private clients in establishing three new family foundations, offering comprehensive advice at every stage of the process, including:
a) professional strategic advice at the stage of succession planning, taking into account the family foundation,
b) preparation of the necessary documentation,
c) support in organizing the structure of the family foundation and its effective functioning,
d) ongoing advice, including in the area of transferring assets to the family foundation and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
During this time, we also handled transactions in which family foundations were parties, thus building new experience in this developing area of law.
Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be even more interesting – we are already working with new clients on establishing more family foundations that will help them effectively manage assets and plan succession.
